Floor Center of Tampa Bay respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you visit floorcentertampa.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it short because our website does not do much with your data.

Information you give us
If you fill out a contact form on our website, we collect the information you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, and whatever message you write us. We use it for one purpose: to reply to you about your project. We do not add you to a marketing list without your say-so, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
If you email or call us directly, we keep that correspondence for the same reason — so we can help you and remember what we discussed.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours collects some basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, which pages you looked at, and how you found us. This comes through Google Analytics, which uses cookies. We use it to understand which pages are useful and which aren’t. It does not tell us who you are personally.
Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which is normal for any website and is used for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Ours are used for basic site function and for the analytics described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time — the site will still work.
Third-party services on our site
A few Google services run on our pages, and each may receive some data from your visit under Google’s own privacy policy. Google Analytics measures site traffic. Google reCAPTCHA stops spam robots from flooding our contact form. Google Maps powers the map on our contact page showing where the showroom is. Google Fonts provides the typefaces the site is set in.

Our website may also link out to other sites, such as our Instagram page or a manufacturer’s website. Once you follow a link off our site, we have no control over what that site does, and this policy no longer applies.
How long we keep things
We keep contact form submissions and customer correspondence for as long as it is useful for serving you — typically a few years, since flooring projects come back around. Analytics data expires on Google’s normal schedule.
How we protect it
Our site runs over a secure encrypted connection, and access to the website and our email is limited to the people who run the business. No website can promise perfect security, but we do not store payment information on our site, and we have no online checkout.
Children
Our website is meant for adults shopping for flooring. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email or call — we will take care of it. You can also block cookies in your browser, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
